Mentoring scheme

Penny has worked with the Royal Literary Foundation helping students with their writing for several years.

As a qualified teacher, who has also been at the receiving end of help with her own books, she is well placed to help writers complete their novels and to direct them to agents and publishers.

For further information about fees  and an application form please contact Penny Hancock.

Penny actively encourages people from under-represented groups to apply.

However, if you are struggling to pay, please do get in touch so she can discuss how she may be able to help.

Raili Taylor, participant on a previous course, says:

The encouragement and guidance I received from Penny and my fellow writers restored my flagging faith in what I was trying to do.

It can be difficult to talk about your writing to a group of strangers but Penny was able to establish a calm and supportive atmosphere from the start.
